Excursions and VIP Transfers

Our cancellation policy for reservations made through our website can be found below, although on occasions we have been more flexible, especially in cases of special circumstances beyond the control of our guests. Should the Charterer decide to cancel the charter, regardless of the reason, the applicable cancellation policy will be determined based on the time elapsed between the booking confirmation and the cancellation date:

  • If the guest cancels the booking 8-21 days before boat embarkation, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount paid will be imposed. Nevertheless, the client has the option to reschedule the same boat trip experience once, subject to vessel availability and consultation with the company.
  • If the guest cancels the booking within 1-7 days of boat embarkation, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total amount paid will be applied. However, the client retains the right to reschedule the same boat trip experience once, contingent upon vessel availability and consultation with the company.
  • The company holds the prerogative to alter the proposed route based on weather conditions. If the company cancels the trip due to adverse weather conditions, and it cannot be rescheduled during the guests’ stay, the entire amount will be fully refunded to the guest.

In case of strong north or south winds, we might need to change the itinerary according to the winds. If you have booked the Round of Milos cruise
and the weather is not suitable for this cruise, you will get a 15% discount. You will be informed about our schedule the day before the trip.
We retain the ability to cancel the tour due to extreme weather conditions, engine or any other material damage and for any other reason in order to ensure every passengers safety.

Boat Rentals
In the event of cancellation of the charter by the Charterer, for any reason, the following cancellation policy will apply depending on the time-interval between the booking confirmation and the cancellation date:
 
a. Policy of “Dossier’s expenses” (150 Euro minimum) will be applied for bookings cancelled in time period up to 90 days prior to boat embarkation.
 
b. Cancellation fee of 30% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period from booking to 60 days prior to boat embarkation.
 
c. Cancellation fee of 50% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period of 59 – 50 days prior to boat embarkation.
 
d. Cancellation fee of 80% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period of 49 – 30 days prior to boat embarkation.
 
e. Cancellation fee of 100% of the total charter fee, for bookings cancelled within a period of 30 days prior to boat embarkation.
 
In case that the boat under cancellation is re-chartered to another Charterer for the same period and under the same conditions, only the dossier expenses will be charged.
 
Extension of boat rental happens only after agreement with A La Mer. In case of inability to return the boat at the agreed date, time and place for any reason, including bad weather, the renter is responsible for the charge of extra rental day if needed, captain, overnight, f&b and extra fuel.
