Book early! Demand is strong, especially in the summer, so it’s recommended to book at least 3 weeks ahead to secure your desired dates.

Booking can be done quickly on our website by clicking the “BOOK NOW” button in the top right corner. It’s as easy as booking a hotel or flight.  Reach out to us via email, phone, or the WhatsApp/Messenger buttons on our website if you need assistance.

If the selected day is unavailable, it will show as such during the booking process.

Fuel is included in the price for all our excursions and VIP transfers.
Fuel is not included in the price for all our boat rentals, whether with a skipper or bareboat. You’ll pay for the fuel consumed at the end of the rental. If desired, you can contact us for a fuel cost estimate beforehand.

Our prices are for groups of up to 4 people, not per person. For groups larger than 4, there’s an extra charge of 30 euros per person, due to increased weight and fuel consumption.

Hotel transfer is not included, but can be organized if necessary. We work with a mini-van service that provides top-notch vans, skilled drivers, and affordable prices. Payment will be made directly by you and you’ll receive a discounted price from A La Mer. We don’t charge a commission for these transfers; we just aim to assist.

Cruising with A La Mer is a fun and hassle-free experience. Just bring your personal items such as swimwear, towel, sunscreen, hat, glasses to protect from the intense Greek sun, and your cell phone/camera.

Our boats come with snorkeling equipment, but you’re welcome to bring your own mask and flippers if you have them. In early or late season, a lightweight windproof jacket may come in handy to keep you warm when the sun begins to set.

Note: If you’d like to bring snacks or sandwiches, we can store them in our ice cooler for you to enjoy later.

Definitely! All of our boats come with bimini tops, or sun tents, that cover the cockpit and rear seating area.

Your safety is our top concern. Before each event, we assess the weather in collaboration with port officials and cancel the activity or rental if deemed hazardous. We reschedule the booking for another day if possible. If the port prohibits boat departures, you will receive a full refund.

This varies based on the individual and their tolerance for water temperature. The waters in the Mediterranean are not as warm as tropical locations but also not as cold as many ocean coasts. On sunny days, the water temperature is similar to the air temperature, making it easy to adjust. You can find more information about Cycladic weather by clicking here.

The Cyclades have fantastic weather, with rain being a rare occurrence. Strong winds are the main cause of “bad” weather, but these conditions rarely result in cancelled trips. We may modify the itinerary to the protected side of an island if necessary, for example during summer months when strong north winds (meltemi) can impact the entire Cyclades region. In this scenario, we prefer to explore the south side of Milos or Poliegos, which are fully sheltered and offer plenty of stunning locations, like Kleftiko and its caves. Our team of skilled skippers will keep you safe and we will provide information on the trip’s route a couple of days in advance, based on weather conditions.

Very good question!

If you are not a strong swimmer, you can use the available life jackets and floatation devices on the boat for a safe swim. If you prefer not to dive in deep water, you can still take a dip on our stops at beaches of varying sizes. However, swimming is optional and not a requirement. Our excursions accommodate a maximum of 8 people, making our boats spacious for those who prefer to stay on board. The shaded areas on the boat provide a comfortable space to relax without having to swim.

Yes, there are no age restrictions for passengers. Children often have a wonderful time on board and we are happy to include them. However, the conditions on an open-type boat, such as sun and wind, can be challenging for children under 2 years old. For this reason, we recommend a shorter 4-hour tour if this applies.

All our boats are equipped with life jackets in various sizes and floatation devices.

All of our RIB boats have a compass and also complete electronic instrumentation, with GPS chart plotters and depth finders.

We have RIB type boats (from 5.4m to 12m) that you need a speedboat license and proven seaworthiness and experience, in order to rent and operate.

A Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) is a lightweight, high-performance and high-capacity vessel made with a rigid hull bottom and inflatable side tubes that are filled with air at high pressure, giving the sides a resilient rigidity. The design is stable, fast, and seaworthy. The inflated tubes serve as a life jacket, keeping the boat afloat even if it takes on water. This type of boat is an improvement from the traditional inflatable boat that has a rubberized fabric bottom reinforced with boards.

The RIB has a deep V-hull shape that allows for a smooth and comfortable ride on waves, and the air tubes provide better shock absorption during tough weather conditions.

Additionally, the lightweight design and powerful motors make the RIB fast and energy-efficient, consuming less power and reducing the environmental impact.

For our bigger RIB type boats, you definitely need plenty of experience, proven seaworthiness and a speedboat license in order to rent and operate!

Most of our RIB boats can be rented without a skipper, but only if you have a speedboat license and are familiar with the potentially rough conditions of the Aegean Sea.

We exclusively provide private RIB boat tours and VIP transportation services between Milos and other Cycladic islands.

Our boats have varying capacities with some accommodating up to 10 passengers and others accommodating up to 8 passengers in total.
The Skipper is always included in the passenger count. This means that groups of up to 9 or 7 people can be accommodated, depending on the boat.
